Technical Checks:
First,
Go to Google and search: “Camera models and RAW files supported by Capture One”
Find YOUR specific camera make and model - and determine if your camera’s RAW files are
supported and it is also a bonus if your camera can tether to Capture One.
Tethering is not required. If your camera is not listed, it may be too old or just not supported for use with the software.
Then,
If you purchased Capture One Pro, great! If not, you can download the software and use it on a 30-day trial. This can be a great way to take my course on the 30-day trial and then decide after if you like C1Pro enough to purchase the software.
Prerequisites:
You have some of your own raw images, and a willingness to shoot more raw images to practice!
You know how to shoot raw images with your camera.
Helpful to know how to shoot manually, but not imperative.
Basic computer literacy and navigational abilities as listed below.
A computer system that meets the minimum requirements, see below.
A card reader and SD or CF card
Access to the internet
A tether cable is optional

Creating new folders on your computer
Locating your Command/Control, Option/Alt, Shift, Delete and arrow keys
Using either a mouse, or a laptop trackpad, or external trackpad, or graphics tablet, or ball-head controller.

Ability to Google things as questions arise
